Transitional Lead Pastor: Hugh Fraser

Transitional Lead Pastor: Hugh Fraser

Pastor Hugh Fraser commenced ministry at Temple as our Transitional Lead Pastor in September 2018.Hugh has been in pastoral ministry in Western Canada since 1982 with these last nineteen years being dedicated to helping churches heal and thrive during their transitions. Hugh lives in Cochrane, AB with his wife Claire who joins him most weekends in Medicine Hat. Of their three adult children, two boys Richard and Michael live in Calgary while their daughter Trish resides with her husband in Glendora, California. In addition to his love for Jesus’ church wherever it meets, Hugh plays and watches hockey, skis a few times a year, finds joy in fishing and escapes occasionally into a theatre to take in a movie.

Pastoral Care: Bob McGougan

Pastoral Care: Bob McGougan

Bob & his wife Judy, have been married for 50 years and have 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Bob has been in ministry full time since 1986. He has served as an executive director of the Community Christian Counselling Center in Medicine Hat, on staff at Hillcrest Church for 15 years and served almost 10 years as the chaplain for the Medicine Hat Police Service. Bob came onto staff at Temple in May of 2018 and continues to provide Pastoral Care to all who are in need.

Administrative Assistant: Connie Fischer

Administrative Assistant: Connie Fischer

Connie has worked in this role since August of 2018. She has taken on the role of graphic designer, website management as well as usual admin tasks and really enjoys the creative aspect of the job! Connie and her husband Justin have a 3 year old daughter, Everleigh & they live on & operate a farm/cattle operation. Connie has been involved in different ministries at Temple including youth & currently worship in addition to working full time at the church.
