Worship

We believe that the foundation of our worship ministry is to love God and love our neighbours. We also believe that worship is expressed every day in our lives and not just Sunday. Worship is expressed not only through music, but also in drama, prayer, preaching, creative movement, and the visual arts. We use these expressions of worship in our corporate worship services as well as in our CE hour, small groups, and special events.

Missions

TBC belongs to NABC Worldwide Outreach, a family of churches making disciples. We support missionaries at home and around the world.  Rev. Ken and Jerilyn Bayer in Brazil, Pery and Lynda Freesen and family in Russia, Walter andFlorence Gnob in Cameroon, Chris and Ingrid Kidd and family in Brazil, CarolPotraz in Japan, Krista Ten Clay in Cameroon, Murray and Diana Schmidt and family working with Africa Inland Mission, Daryl and Loretta Martin working with Russian Bible School, Russian Bible School and John and Valerie Bechtoldwith Hockey Ministries International.  TBC is a strong supporter of mission work.

Prayer Room

Every Sunday during the service a group of 2 to 5 people are praying in the prayer room to lift up the service before our Lord, to intercede for our Pastors and congregation and for the Body of Christ worldwide. We also pray with those who come in the room with special requests or needs. There is a rotation schedule posted in the church lobby. Anyone interested in this ministry can contact the church office.

Pinecrest Bible Camp

Each summer, hundreds of young people from all over AB and SK descend on Cypress Hills located 23 miles from Highway #1 south of Maple Creek, SK. Like any other group or organization, Pinecrest relies heavily on a large number of people to operate its’ camps each year. Every camp needs cooks, cooks helpers, nurses, directors, speakers, counsellors and C.I.T.’s to help make the camp experience a memorable one for the campers.
